A cappella group Straight No Chaser to perform in Stamford
The a cappella group will sing summer hits from the 1960's through today.

Straight No Chaser is bringing their "Beach Bash" tour to Stamford.
They are performing at the Stamford Palace Theatre on June 25th at 7:30 p.m.
The group is often known for their holiday hits, but they're trading winter wonderland for summer fun on this tour.
One of their members, Steve Morgan, says they'll be singing songs ranging from the Beach Boys to Bruno Mars.
Morgan says there has been a stigma in the past about a cappella music. But the popularity of the "Pitch Perfect" movies and shows like "The Sing-Off" have helped make the genre a part of the public conscience and change how people see it.
He says people often come up to the group after shows and think there were instruments used on stage, but he promises there are none!
