AAA predicts 112 million commuters will hit roads for holiday travel
Officials say the holiday travel rush will start tomorrow and continue through Thursday night.
They say traffic along major national highways and state thruways will be especially heavy when combined with rush hour traffic.
AAA officials say the figure is a 4.4 percent increase from last year, with at least 91 percent of the predicted 112 million people driving cars.
The auto group credits the increase in economic growth and the decline of gas prices for the increase of drivers on the road.
