Man arrested for knife attack at Lindenhurst apartment complex

A Lindenhurst man has been arrested for attacking another man with a knife at an apartment complex, officials say.
According to police, Tesfa Tucker attacked a man who was known to him in the entryway at the Putnam Gardens apartment complex at 930 Putnam Ave. at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The victim, 27, of Central Islip, was transported to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Tucker, 42, who lives at the complex, was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Tucker is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
