An adult and a child were safely rescued Monday after their jet ski broke down Sunday night in Jamesport.
Police say the call came in around 5 p.m. about a mile off Iron Pier beach. Riverhead police used a drone and rescue boat to locate them and tow the jet ski to shore.
No one was injured, but the adult operator received several summonses for safety violations.
