The NYPD is asking for help in locating three unidentified men in connection with a shot fired incident in Brooklyn.

Police say three men entered a multiunit residential building Monday at 12:18 a.m. on South 3rd Street and Havemeyer Street.

One of the unidentified men walked to a fourth floor apartment door, knocked and then discharged one round from a handgun into the door. The gunshot entered the apartment where a 23-year-old man and an 18-year-old man were present.

The gunshot was recovered from the upper part of a couch. The unidentified men fled on foot.

There were no reported injuries.
