A bill that changes how Connecticut police departments report traffic stops is moving ahead.
It is part of the the current anti-racial profiling law that cleared a key legislative committee.
The Judiciary Committee approved the bill, 38-to-5 yesterday.
Proponents say better reporting of race, color and age of the person who is stopped will reduce racial profiling.
