An anti-war sign in a downtown Milford liquor store is creating quite a stir among local veterans. The sign, located behind TJ?s Package Store, was put up by storeowner Thomas Jakubisyn. The Navy veteran says he put up the sign, which reads, ?Out of work? Undereducated? No health plan? Join the Army and see Iraq,? three years ago when the U.S. invaded Iraq. Jakubisyn says the sign is not meant to be offensive, he says it is supposed to be funny. Local veterans, however, are calling on residents to boycott the store.
