Attorneys for former Gov. John Rowland were in a Federal court in New York today to appeal Rowland's campaign fraud convictions.
Rowland was sentenced to 30 months for taking money under the table to work as a consultant for a friend's congressional campaign in 2012.
The conviction came 10 years after Rowland resigned in disgrace in a corruption scandal that ended with a 10-month prison sentence.
