A dramatic standoff caught on camera led to an arrest, but Stamford police say the video doesn't tell the whole story.
A woman took a video of her neighbor, with his dog, holding a gun at close range pointed at a man in a hoodie. She says she thought the situation might've been racially motivated.
However, police say that Fitzroy Lyle had told the man holding the gun that he was going to shoot them both. They say the man holding the gun had a permit, and that they believe it was justified.
Lyle was charged in the incident. Police say a similar incident happened recently with a couple and their dog, but they didn't press charges.
The state's attorney will be reviewing the case Wednesday to see if more charges will be filed against either of the men.
