Stamford police arrested a man they say entered an office building with a gun Friday afternoon.

Police say 27-year-old Joel D'Ort is a former sub-contractor of a company in the building. Lt. Sean Cooney says D?Ort went into one of the offices inside 70 Seaview Ave. and had an argument with a female employee.

Armed officers quickly surrounded the building and D'Ort subsequently fled the scene, hiding the gun behind a ceiling tile on his way out, police say. The weapon was later recovered and D?Ort was arrested at his Stamford home on Mohegan Street.
