Three armed men stormed a Bridgeport gas station Monday night, knocked out a worker and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, surveillance video shows.
They were wearing ski masks and black clothing from head to toe when they charged through the door and pistol whipped the owner's nephew at the BP station on Madison Avenue around 11:30 p.m., according to police.
The owner, his nephew and at least one customer were inside at the time.
The video shows the men moved behind the counter and pat the nephew down before cracking him in the head hard enough to knock him out. He was not seriously injured.
"You know, that's what scared me the most, when they hit my nephew with the gun, and I saw him go on the floor," says Arfan Akach. "You know he passed out. After they left, I went and checked and made sure he's OK. And I picked up the phone and called the cops."
