An unusual case came to the courthouse in Bridgeport as a New York City woman sues her now 12-year-old nephew from Westport
The aunt claimed that an "overly exuberant hug" from the boy at his birthday party in 2011 knocked her off her feet and she broke her wrist.
It didn't take long for the jury to weigh in and turn Jennifer Connell down.
Connell said she wanted $127,000 for medical expenses and the pain she suffered from after the injury.
The boy, whose mother died last year, reportedly looked confused as he sat in the courtroom with his father.
One neighbor says she cannot understand why the aunt sued her nephew.
Connell reportedly claimed in court that she was at a party recently, and found it difficult to hold her hors d'oeuvre plate.
