8h agoA Bridgeport police officer and two other people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Friday evening.
The crash happened just before 7:30 p.m. at the corner of Fairfield and Iranistan avenues in Bridgeport.
Police say that the police cruiser was on its way to a possible burglary with its lights and sirens on when the crash occurred. The crash caused the airbags in the cruiser to deploy.
The officer and the other two people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
