17h agoA Bridgeport police officer was struck by a vehicle Friday.
It happened at Fairfield Avenue and Brewster Street around 2 p.m., police said.
The driver of the vehicle did stop and is cooperating with police.
The officer was transported to the hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
