? Police are looking for a man who used a grenade to rob a Fairfield bank and set the wheels in motion for a three-car crash Saturday.
Police say the suspect used a grenade to threaten a teller at the Webster Bank on Boston Post Road about 9:40 a.m. The teller turned over the money and the robber got away. Police say a responding officer hit a truck that was trying to turn in front of him. That truck was pushed into another vehicle. Residents say they heard loud crashing sounds and found the driver of the truck bloody. Both the officer and driver were treated and released from the hospital.
The bank robber remains at large. Fairfield police urge anyone with information about the robbery to contact them at (203) 254-4840.
