Authorities: Person rescued from the Saugatuck Reservoir in Weston

Fire officials say they received a call for two people possibly in distress in the Saugatuck Reservoir area. One person was able to swim to shore.

A person was rescued from the Saugatuck Reservoir in Weston Wednesday, police say.
It happened around 6:30 a.m.
Fire officials say they received a call for two people possibly in distress in the Saugatuck Reservoir area.
One person was able to swim to shore.
Officials say the other person was rescued by Weston fire and police aboard Marine 1.
They were taken to an area hospital for further evaluation.
Police did not provide information on what led up to the rescue or if the two people were in a vessel.
