Dietician Courtney Huggins, of ShopRite, says getting kids to eat healthy takes practice.
She says snacks that are sweet like fruits or carrots are a good go-to for the lunch box.
Huggins says water is best, but if kids must have juice then parents can dilute it with water.
Parents can also flavor their child's water with herbs or fruits.
Huggins says it's tough getting kids to try new foods, but parents can take them to the produce section to include them in shopping.
She says getting kids involved in the kitchen during meal prep is also useful.
