Bail was reduced Thursday for a Norwalk man accused of hitting and killing a man while driving drunk.
Police say Hugo Cruz-Gregorio plowed his truck into three people at a liquor store on Woodward Avenue in October, killing one and injuring another.
They say he was drunk and fled from the scene. Court documents reportedly say that Cruz-Gregorio told officers he did not know how to drive but his friends said "we'll teach you," and pressured him to make a beer run.
He is charged with manslaughter, driving under the influence and fleeing the scene of an accident. Cruz-Gregorio's bail has been reduced to $100,000.
