It was a big weekend for Red Sox fans after the home opener on Friday.
New manager Bobby Valentine had many Stamford supporters in attendance for the big day.
Sunday was the 65th anniversary of Jackie Robinson's breaking of the color barrier in baseball.
Players, managers, coaches and umpires all wore No. 42 on Jackie Robinson Day to remember the 65th anniversary of the day the future Hall of Famer first took the field with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947.
Robinson lived in Stamford for many years.
Bobby Valentine's father-in-law Ralph Branca was at Fenway Park yesterday.
Branca was a Brooklyn Dodgers teammate of Robinson from 1947 to 1952.
