Two amur leopard cubs at Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo have been named.
The two baby leopards were born two months ago. The zoo bred the leopards through the Species Survival Plan Program, which manages the breeding of animals in human care. It's important since the species is at the brink of extinction.
The typical colored male leopard has been named Orion and the female, whose coloring is all black, has been named Kallisto.
The zoo announced the cubs' names Friday.
