Beautiful, sunny and warm Labor Day weekend for Connecticut

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says Saturday through Labor Day Monday will be mostly sunny and dry.

Comfortably cool this first evening of meteorological fall, but holiday heat is on the way.
WHAT'S NEW: Comfortably cool with low humidity again overnight. Temperatures will continue to run a bit below normal. Lows tonight: upper-50s.
WHAT'S NEXT: Tracking some big heat for the northeast next week. It will start Sunday when temperatures return to the 80s. Humidity levels will go up again. Hot and humid Monday and early next week.
Labor Day temps: Upper-80s - low-90s. Hottest areas will be away from the shoreline. Beaches will be a little cooler with winds off the sound.
There will be no rain in the forecast until later in the week.
