The Stamford Museum & Nature Center is hosting two exhibits.

If you’re more into “cool and creepy,” check out “Tarantulas: Alive & Up Close.” Learn about these fascinating creatures and why, although they may look hairy, they might not be as scary as they seem.

If you prefer the beauty of nature, check out “Nature Aglow: The Paintings of Jan Dilenschneider.” The Darien resident has spent a lifetime capturing light on canvas. Her expressionist landscapes celebrate the vibrant energy of the natural world.

Both exhibits are on view through Jan. 4, 2027.
