Former President Bill Clinton was in Hartford Monday to campaign for Gov. Dannel Malloy's re-election.
Clinton attended a rally at the Learning Corridor, where he spoke to around 700 supporters.
Clinton credited Malloy with making unpopular decisions to fix the state's budget problems because he knew it was necessary to move Connecticut forward.
Malloy's Republican opponent is Greenwich businessman Tom Foley. The latest Quinnipiac poll shows Malloy and Foley in a dead heat.
