A black bear has been exploring the sights and sounds of Woodbridge, according to police and residents.
The bear has been spotted in various settings in the town. Residents have reported seeing the animal in a backyard, on a tennis court and crossing a road.
Many residents say they'd be dumbfounded as to what to do if approached by a bear.
Animal control officers advise residents to back away quietly and go back inside if the bear crosses their paths. Officer Paul Niedman says residents should also keep trash cans sealed, put away bird feeders and take pet food inside.
