Black History Month: Constance Baker Motley
New Haven native Constance Baker Motley was the first African American woman to become a federal judge. She also worked for NAACP's Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and was the only woman on the NAACP legal team for Brown v Board of Education. In honor of Black History month, we are recognizing local African Americans who made an impact in our state. Keep an eye out for facts like this throughout our newscasts this month.
