Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman says he wants to talk to President-elect Donald Trump about things that the county needs.

"We have an aging infrastructure," Blakeman said. "Our sewer system needs a $100 million upgrade. Minimum. There are so many things we need."

Blakeman added that he expects to run for reelection next year, but isn't ruling out a job at the White House if asked.

"My expectation is that I'll be running for reelection this next year," Blakeman said. "However, if President Trump wanted me to do something that was important for him, obviously if the president of the United States calls you, you would do it."

Blakeman's term run through 2025.
