Some elected officials are calling on the Connecticut Vaccine Advisory Group to amend its recommendations when it comes to vaccinating people 65 and older.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal and state Rep. Harry Arora, of Greenwich, say this age group should be allowed to get the COVID-19 vaccine next.
The advisory group made its recommendation to the Gov. Ned Lamont this week, excluding people 65 and older from phase 1B of the vaccine distribution program.
Lamont has yet to act on the advisory group's recommendation.
