Connecticut businessman and candidate for governor Bob Stefanowski has conceded his run for office.
Stefanowski released a statement Wednesday thanking his supporters.
"Thank you to those of you who believed in this campaign and our mission to provide a better Connecticut."
Stefanowski goes on to say, "I implore Gov. Lamont to support the people who voted for him as much as the ones who did not. Politics has become too divisive, and the great people of Connecticut deserve better."
Incumbent Gov. Ned Lamont declared victory Tuesday night and will serve as Connecticut's governor for another four years.
