The body of a woman has been found in floodwaters in Fairfield.Elzbeth Schubiger, 71, was found dead Monday floating along the Rooster River. Authorities say Schubiger and her husband were outside cleaning up debris from Sunday?s storm when she apparently lost her balance and fell into the swollen waters. According to officials, Schubiger?s husband reported her missing around 8:30 a.m. A subsequent search of the property found her wedged against a wall between a tree.
