The Stamford bomb squad was called on Monday to a home on Ocean Avenue in Stratford after an eviction earlier in the day.

Police say the evicted female tenant left some very old long guns along with a few aluminum cans that were marked explosive material (blasting caps) inside the house. Blasting caps are devices that make explosives detonate.

Authorities say there is no further investigation and have not released any information on charges.
