More people can now get out of the house and head to the movies with Bow Tie Cinema theaters reopening in western Connecticut Friday.
People started lining up for the theaters in Trumbull and Norwalk around 11 a.m. for some of the early showings.
Janet Trahan, who recently moved to the area, says she brought her whole family and that they planned to watch three movies in one day.

Gov. Ned Lamont will be easing mask restrictions starting Wednesday, but Bow Tie Cinema says moviegoers will still be required to wear a mask for the foreseeable future.
Bow Tie Cinema says as of this weekend, 75% of its theaters in the state will now be open - and it has safety guidelines in place approved by chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci himself.
