Bridgeport authorities say girl's abduction claim not credible
<p>Authorities in Bridgeport say a girl's claim that a man tried to abduct her is not credible. Around a dozen officers were on scene at the intersection of Kent and Horace streets around 9:30 a.m. Thursday. </p>

Authorities in Bridgeport say a girl's claim that a man tried to abduct her is not credible.
Around a dozen officers were on scene at the intersection of Kent and Horace streets around 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
Police say a call came in to 911 that the girl, who was on her way to school, told an adult that a man had tried to abduct her.
Authorities said they would investigate the claim out of an abundance of caution.
