A heartfelt "thank you" echoed through Seaside Park as Greater Bridgeport Christian Fellowship received a generous $3,000 donation for its Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign. Pastor Eric Torres accepted the check Sunday, expressing gratitude to The Council of Italian American Societies and The Bridgeport Area Cultural Italian Organization.

The donation was made possible by a recent 5K race held at Seaside Park. The funds will support the church's holiday giving campaign, benefiting thousands of local children.
