Bridgeport City Council members gathered for a special meeting Thursday to discuss the city's future. Shortly after Mayor John Fabrizi admitted to using cocaine, City Council members vowed to continue moving the city forward. Council President Andres Ayala says the 14 Democrats met behind closed doors so they could speak freely. Ayala says the city needs to work to restore the public's trust.The council plans to look into revamping the city's code of ethics and specifically addressing drug use.
