A 53-year-old Bridgeport City Councilman was arrested again for new criminal charges in ballot fraud scandal.
Alfredo Castillo, of Bridgeport, is facing 10 new counts, including restricted envelopes and possession of ballots.
Castillo now faces 20 counts for the 2023 Bridgeport Democratic mayoral primary.
11 other people, including three City Council members, are also facing ballot charges in Bridgeport.
Castillo is to appear in the Bridgeport Superior Court Sept. 2.
