A Bridgeport man has pleaded guilty to defrauding Amazon out of more than $210,000.
Prosecutors say the scam started when Rajhni Yankana, 28, created multiple vendor accounts using false names and email addresses so he could sell third party merchandise.
Yankana then told Amazon he was shipping merchandise to customers but would instead report it lost and would collect refunds from Amazon.
A federal judge handed down a five-month prison term followed by five months of home detention.
