A Bridgeport doctor is reportedly facing a $5,000 fine for operating on a patient's wrong eye.
The Hartford Courant says Doctor Jeffery Sandler's office was supposed to perform laser surgery on the patient's left eye last year.
In a proposed settlement, Sandler would pay the fine and not refute the allegation.
