Bridgeport family remembers loved one killed in 'freak' accident

A heartbroken Bridgeport family is coming together after their loved one was killed this week in a tragic accident.
"My dad was so loving," said Darshell Faulk.
They came to celebrate the life of 60-year-old Larry Hamilton.
The decorated Army veteran was known for being a hardworking family man and churchgoer.
Police say Hamilton was killed in a freak accident on Norman Street around 3:30 p.m. Monday. He was working on a vehicle and the truck collapsed on him.
The family says they were told by police that Hamilton died instantly, and could not have suffered.
They say he will leave a lasting legacy of love, laughter and service to the country and his family.
The funeral is set for next Thursday at Calvary Temple Christian Center on Barnum Avenue.
