The Bridgeport Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 10 am. Friday on the 1400 block of Pembroke Street.
Firefighters located a heavy fire in the back of the home.
No injuries were reported, but 11 adults and five children were displaced.
The American Red Cross is helping the displaced residents.
