Bridgeport firefighters: Blaze brought under control at Lewis Street duplex

The Red Cross provided shelter for two adults and three children.

Bridgeport fire crews put out a blaze that happened on Lewis Street early Sunday evening.
They say they responded to an attic fire in a duplex around 5:45 p.m.
Firefighters were able to bring the flames under control under 30 minutes.
The Red Cross provided shelter for two adults and three children.
No injuries were reported.
A cause of the fire was not immediately clear as of Sunday night.
