Bridgeport firefighters worked to put out a fire at the old Harding High School Sunday afternoon.

Officials say the incident happened on the second floor of the school.

A second fire crew was called to the scene due to extreme cold temperatures.

Firefighters extinguished the flames within 40 minutes.

There were no reported injuries.

It was not immediately clear what caused the fire as of Sunday night.
