A stomach "bug" is making thousands of people sick across southwestern Connecticut and sending hundreds of them to the hospital to seek treatment.
Emergency rooms like the one at Bridgeport Hospital have been treating people suffering from the gastrointestinal bug. Symptoms include nausea, diarrhea and other discomforts.
Doctors urge everyone to wash their hands thoroughly using anti-bacterial products and practice good hygiene to help keep from getting ill.
