Bridgeport's city council is looking for ways to enforce the ban on dirt bikes in the park city.

Council President Tom McCarthy says a tougher ordinance is being looked at.

He says it would boost fines up to $2,000 to get an impounded bike back.

McCarthy says the bikes are illegal on the city's main streets but he is hoping a designated area can be found for bikers to use.
