A Bridgeport man is facing charges after police say he stole the grave marker of a World War II veteran and then sold it for scrap.
Dennis Jelliffe, 46, went before a judge yesterday.
Police say he took a marker from the veteran's grave at Park Cemetery and sold it at a scrap yard for $28.
