(AP) - Police have arrested a21-year-old Bridgeport man, saying he's the gunman who killed oneperson and injured another in a bar shooting last weekend.
Saul Rodriguez was taken into custody Wednesday after policewere tipped off he was hiding in a Pembroke Street apartment.
Rodriguez is accused of fatally shooting 42-year-old Maria Novasand wounding 33-year-old Alex Martinez when he fired several shotsat La Cueva on Pembroke Street early Saturday.
He's being held in lieu of $1.5 million bond pending arraignmentin Bridgeport Superior Court.
Police say Novas was shot once in the head. Martinez, who workedas the bar's doorman, was shot in the right lower leg.
