A Bridgeport man is facing charges after police say he stabbed a man in the neck.

Officers arrested Evens Dorvelus just minutes after the attack and say he was still carrying the bloody knife.

The victim was reportedly trying to defuse a confrontation between Dorvelus and another man when he was stabbed.

The victim is expected to survive. Dorvelus is charged with assault and breach of peace and is due in court on Monday.
