A Bridgeport man faces criminal charges after police say he admitted to biting his 3-year-old nephew to teach the boy a lesson.
The incident was brought to the attention of authorities when a daycare worker from Child World Academy noticed bite marks on the boy?s legs, arms, back and shoulder. She then notified authorities. When the toddler was questioned about the bites, he said his uncle bit him.
He was later taken to a hospital to be evaluated.
Bridgeport police arrested the boy?s uncle, 40-year-old Hector Pulido. Pulido told the police he bit his nephew to teach him that biting was wrong.
Pulido is charged with assault and risk of injury to a minor.
