A Moroccan man, living in Bridgeport, who plotted to bomb federal buildings, has been sentenced to two years in prison.
El Mehdi Semlali Fathi, 27, was arrested at his apartment in April.
Authorities say after serving his sentence, he will be deported.
The FBI says Fathi was caught on tape talking about his plan to use drones and remote control bombs.
His lawyer claimed he was only joking.
