Bridgeport man sentenced to 47 years after sexually assaulting four minors

A Bridgeport man has been sentenced to 47 years in prison with 15 years of mandatory minimum jail time for sexually assaulting four underage girls, according to the state of Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice. 

After a weeklong jury trial in September, Rahmani Kabwe, 42, was convicted of assaulting three girls between 2019 and 2021 and a fourth victim while out on bond for earlier charges. 

The jury found him guilty on all counts.
