Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim met Monday with state education officials tasked with addressing the school district's $32 million budget deficit.
“This is a time when people need to come together,” said Ganim. He also described the meeting as productive and noting that the state commissioners’ intervention and partnership will be “the best thing we’ve seen for our students.”
